Re: Budinger/Prince
I understand that Prince and Allen are past their prime, but I still can't imagine Memphis would give them up for Barea and Budinger. Two guys who have started in the NBA much of their career and have always been efficient shooters for two guys who have never started and are having ridiculously poor seasons. I'm going to need to understand why Memphis likes this at all.
Jeez, I don't need much in return if we can unload JJ and Bud's contract. And to get two superb defensive players...

Marc Stein@ESPNSteinLine
Hearing Minnesota among teams expressing interest in trading for Denver's Andre Miller ... provided JJ Barea moves elsewhere before deadline
Could be a few moves made?

Been thinking the last couple hours about this. Not on board with this trade.

We'd be sending $14.5M in contracts to acquire $23.2M. Talk about risky.

Yeah i'm not sure what to think of it.. I hate jj so bad so i could care less about moving him,I do like bud but he's a bit over paid, And our bench needs scoring and prince and allen are not that great at that,, But then again JJ and bud have been very bad this year lol,, Bud was getting better the last few days..... If we got A Miller for luc then i would go for it....
Miller
Allen
Prince
Danta
Trufant
I don't know maybe they could start one of prince/allen and move brewer or Martin to the 2nd team..

That's right, cam. Allen comes off the books in 2017, Bud in 2016. And JJ and Prince come off the books next year. This deal (if it really is a deal...still can't believe Memphis would want any part of it) is essentially Allen for Bud, with the added bonus that we don't have to watch JJ anymore. I would be in favor, but as I said, I don't think it's real.

I'd ask CLE about Luol Deng and/or Dion Waiters.
