Dion Waiters has been in the news cycle on several occasions due to reports he has issues with Kyrie Irving, that one time he was asked to leave a practice due to a bad attitude and that he doesn't like his role and wants to be traded. Waiters has always said none of that is true. Head coach Mike Brown wants to make sure that Waiters playing just 11 minutes earlier this week has nothing to do with the rumors.

"I felt the other guys were playing better," Brown told The News-Herald. "Jarrett Jack had eight assists. C.J. Miles shot the ball well off the bench. I played Luol Deng and Kyrie Irving heavy minutes. Something's got to give someplace."

Waiters did play 24 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Lakers and overall he's getting 24.1 minutes over the last 10 games. Waiters has most frequently been linked with a move to Philadelphia in a package for Evan Turner. Waiters won't have to wait too much longer to learn his fate as the NBA trade deadline is two weeks from today.
