Nate Robinson out with ACL tear
JJ may have just become more appealing to the Nuggets as trade bait. Andre Miller would've been nice to have tonight.

We can only hope....
Re: Nate Robinson out with ACL tear
The Wolves didn't need a 38-year old 20% three-point shooter tonight. They needed Ricky on the floor instead of JJ late in the 4th and they needed their three-point specialists -- Martin and Budinger -- to shoot better than their combined 1 for 7 from behind the arc.

I'd rather have Randy Foye.

As would I. Overpaying for Bud and Brewer is killing us. I could have handle the annual $'s at shorter terms.

That about covers it.

That is fairly obvious. I agree Foye would be a better option but lets be realistic. Is your opinion that JJ is a better fit to facilitate than Miller would be if the coaching staff sees it as wise to sit Ricky in the 4th quarter(which has been happening more frequently lately)? If so I disagree. I'm fairly sure that Miller know his weaknesses after 14 seasons. He has averaged less than 1 attempt per game for his whole career wouldn't be jacking up wild 3's and forcing bad shots at the rate the JJ does. At backup PG, I would take a 38-year old 20% three-point shooter who can facilitate on offense with a decent mid-range game over an overpaid 5 foot 8 wild shot chucking, defensive liability, offensive black hole combo guard. The "three-point specialist" that was a liability in last nights game was Budinger. I would say its unfair to even mention Martin and Budinger in the same breath at this point.

What contract would you give to a 20-10 player?

*An efficient 20/10 player.
