He missed the end of the season last year with a knee injury. To my knowledge, it hasn't been an issue this season at all. Had been playing well for Sac-Town.

I like the idea of adding Luc, he can defend and is an athletic body. The one thing I hope we do is not stop right now with this moving and trading process. We need shooting yes, but our bench needs more then shooting..we have Barea, if we keep him. We need a true leader vet who can be a game changer. Mo Williams, Jamal Charles, or someone like Harden was with OKC. Hard to find I know...but shooters are shooter and our so called shooters are just terrible right now....we need the IQ and leadership coming from the bench.

Would Adelman ever bring Budinger and Brewer off the bench and add Luc in to the starting lineup?

I think that is the plan to have in place before the end of the season.

"Travis Outlaw is playing well this year" This gets said for a couple months every year in that guy's career then he goes back to being largely forgettable. Until he does something worthwhile for an entire season he isn't worth much if anything to me.

Jamal Charles? The Viking's season is basically over just get AP to fill that role. Lol Sorry couldn't help it. :)

Good catch on the Jamal Charles thing. I think Slim meant Crawford.

As far as Outlaw, he makes the same as Shved for the same amount of years. In the mythical trade I suggested, I see Outlaw getting a lot of minutes until Chase gets back and then that number going down.

This bench has been as awful as I can remember. This team could easily be 12-4 instead of 8-8. Man, I miss talkin' Wolves. So much more fun than George Zimmerman or Trey Radal.

@markkbu....yah...it seems rational that Luc becomes the starter. Having a bench of Barea, Brewer, Budinger, DC and Turiaf would be fantastic. Right now this team is just getting tired and the shooting percentage and three point chucking is killing us. Not having a bench to relieve the starters is obvious and I am please to see Flip not stall and make the move for Luc with Williams.

Luc starting would also justify them making the trade prior to the date when everyone can be traded. The Wolves are coming into a tough stretch of games when you need to challenge and you also want to gather some chemistry before the heart of the schedule.

To sorta build off of what you said here.......Luc is a very good defender (maybe better than Brewer :) ) and very athletic, and i think that it will be easier for him to learn the "adelman way" playing with the first team. Brewer is already altering his game to fit the way that Adelman want him to play (i.e taking less dumb (mid-range) shots).

So, for the same reasons why Brewer was the best fit with the first team at the beginning of the season, that same reason will be why Luc is a better fit to play with the first team as the season progresses.

Plus, as you mentioned, the three Bs and DC and Turiaf, would make a pretty good second team if Adelman chooses to go 10 deep.

Outlaw getting alot of minutes? Yikes that only sounds good is if he was on my city league basketball squads. Lol And yes Shved has been brutal and Outlaw would be less bad but thats no reason to trade one bad player for one bad player.

But he's not a bad player until he starts....playing badly. Maybe he will and maybe he won't. But this team can't play 13 on 5 every night for the rest of the year.
