JJ played in the final minutes because Memphis has to honor his shot, with Ricky in they fall back and make everything harder on the other four players.

You realize JJ's shooting 40% from the field this year right? 34% from three. Don't act like his jumper's that much better than Ricky's to where it should force Rubio on the bench in big time minutes. No way. Memphis doesn't have to honor either shot, but I know the guy that'll make a play for someone else and it's not JJ.

Have you been watching a different Barea to me this season?

Damn ugly but true. Our starting PG gets pulled when the game is on the line. WOW either Ricky changes or we change PG's

Can we package Adelman and Barea in a trade for something valuable? I'm only being half sarcastic when I say this. :furious:

We're just gonna have to disagree, no way they worry about Ricky's shot in the final minutes as they would with JJ. JJ is either clutch, or useless, when it comes to Rubio making shots thats a risk Memphis would take. You have two offensive threats on the floor in Love and KMart, with Ricky in their space is much more crowded.

Yes I have and I understand your point. But between JJ and Ricky only one is likely to score a team to victory and with a couple minutes left in the game the D strategy changes from a more even plan to a very focused plan around the offensive threats. They know JJ has been either lousy or very good, you have to honor the possibility with him that you don't with Ricky.

I don't give a shit if they worry about his shot. I want the right basketball play to be made and I know I can get that from Ricky whereas JJ's gonna piss away a possession. Floor spacing blah blah blah. We still manage to score more points with Ricky on the court than without Ricky on the court. Period.

You realize that Ricky doesn't score worth a crap right in the 4th.....and most of the time? Atleast there is a decent possibility that JJ might score. Ricky doesn't score at the end of games
