Tonight's win against the Blazers was a good start. I was hoping we would win one out of the next three. So if we lose both LA games, I will still be fine. That would make us 4-5 in a 9-game stretch that included Miami, San Antonio, Portland, and the Clippers.

Then comes the easy 13-game stretch where most of us believe we can make up some ground in the West.

GO WOLVES!

I had this one as a loss so I am happy. I have us splitting LA so if somehow we can sweep the weekend we will be inching closer to LST's optimistic outlook. Go Wolves indeed.

We are six games into this soft portion of our schedule, and it's time to reevaluate where we stand. Only the
Laker game didn't go as expected in the first six, so I am now one game behind in my 27-19 prediction. I'm staying with it, though, because I see two good opportunities to win what Tim would call "anti-clunkers" (a win where a loss is expected). First, the OKC game looks very winnable now with Westbrook out. It's a home game and we should be riding a 4-game winning streak, and we will likely be favored to win by 2-3 points. Also, the Chicago road team looks winnable. They are proving to be a really bad team without Rose, and have lost 7 of 10 (with the only wins being against Milwaukee, Cleveland and Brooklyn) after losing to Dallas by 22 at home last night. We should be at least a 5-6 point favorite in that one.

I see us winning both of those games now, but then losing another game that we should win on a night that we just don't show up. Bottom line...I still like my 27-19.

27-19.

vs POR: W
@ LAL: W
@ LAC: L
vs WAS: W
@ MIL: W
vs DAL: L
vs NO: W
vs OKC: L
@ PHI: W
vs PHO: W
vs CHA: W
@ SA: L
vs SAC: W
@TOR: W
vs UTA: W
@ UTA: W
@GS: L
@ POR: L
@ CHI: W
vs NO: W
vs MEM: W

15-6 over next 21. Questionable games that are coin flips: vs POR, @ LAC, vs DAL, vs OKC, @ SA and @ TOR.

We just can't keep losing to "easy" opponents like we did last night.

We can make up the Lakers game loss when we play Dallas at home. I already considered OKC as a "coin flip game", but without Westbrook I feel more and more like we'll win.

Feeling strong still! 7 home games over the next 10.

I think most on here are a bit more realistic at 24-22 , ill go one better at 25-21.

I'm really disappointed with the Dallas loss. We're better than they are...maybe it's what Cam said, that it's difficult to beat a team three times in a row. Regardless, it's a bad loss at home. What an awful performance by our bench.

Anyway, I'm already two games behind my optimistic prediction. Even though I now think the OKC and Chicago games are winnable, this seems to be moving in the direction of a 25-21 end of month...exactly what the board consensus was. It goes to show the knowledge of this board. There are some optimists (yours truly) and some pessimists, but overall we know the team well enough to predict where they are going. 25-21 will be a little disappointing for me, but still should have us knocking on the playoffs door. I'm not giving up yet on 27--19, but we haven't had the start I wanted.

According to the Camden W/L prediction, we should ring off three straight wins after tonight's loss. Keep the faith strong! 27-19 isn't out of the works yet, and even if the rest of my predictions came true without making up for the LAL loss, I think we'd all take 26-20. :D
