Trade thought

Post by kekgeek »

Barea, Cunningham, bazz and hummel for mayo and ridnour.

Mayo is not playing much in milwaukee, he could be our scoring punch off the bench, before the season I wanted Barea over ridnour but now I don't. milwaukee would get a expiring contact in Cunningham and a young piece in bazz

Or a more extreme offer of love for Larry Sanders (would play pf), mayo, the Greek Freak and an unprotected first round pick

You think Martin's contract is bad then Mayo's is disgusting. Sure he'd give us scoring off the bench, but at 8 mil per season it would cripple our cap space for the next 3 years. I wouldn't mind seeing Ridnour back in a Wolves jersey but might as well wait till the off season when we can probably pick him up for a third of the price (and Adelman will be gone so no Ridnour at starting SG!). Maybethen he could play the role he was originally signed for - 'backup PG'.

Milwaukee wouldn't trade for Love purely because they know it would be just a rental until he's a free agent in less than 2 years. No way Love would resign with Milwaukee! If the Wolves front office could draft we would already have the Greek Freak..... And I think Larry Sanders is overrated.

I'd love to get John Henson. He'd be the ideal third big in the rotation with Pek and Love, but his asking price will be high. His contract is a bargain too (2 mil per for next 3 years). Another guy I like at the Bucks is Gary Neal. Good 3 point shooter to bring in off the bench. I would give up anything on this roster bar Love/Rubio/Pek to get the tandem of Neal/Henson.
