Rubio for Westbrook

Heard that on KFAN. Love Westbrook. Injury worries me though.

Why would OKC do that? Who else does MN send to OKC to make contract match?

Pekovic?

Well, we'd have two superstars. Wouldn't have much, if anything, around them. I'd love to have Westbrook, but there's no way it would happen.

If I'm OKC, I'd do that Rubio/Pek for Westbrook deal. No doubt.

I was thinking of this the other day and actully thought it could make both teams better. Rubio and Pek for Westbrook and IBaka. OKC has shown they can win without Westbrook. Rubio and Pek give them two things they don't have. A great distributor and an inside scoring presence. We also get two things we need - a guy that can break down a defense and score the ball, and some rim protection. Not sure why this couldn't work.

This was always the swing for the fences deal I wanted. I take the risk if I am Minnesota. I still wonder why OKC would do it. I would have to become a OKC fan then as well. Imagine Rubio and Durant. Talk about a perfect match.

Contracts? I also don't see why they'd include Ibaka. They'd be blowing up their whole team.

If they include anyone it will be dumping Perkins.

Yep.

Minnesota is 10th in the conference. OKC has been a title contender for multiple seasons. I see why one team wants to do this deal... don't see the reasoning for the other one...

OKC is proving they can win without Westbrook. I have no doubt they are a better team with Rubio, Pek, and Durant as their core.

Perkins and Westbrook doesn't make sense for Minnesota IMO
