Yup. Great win! It's an Anti-Klunker!

And after the Suns have their anti-klunker against Indiana, they give it right back losing at home against the Wiz. Go figure. That's still the team we are most likely to catch.

Statement to what? I mean it's an awesome win but i don't really think it says much, at least not nothing we didn't know before.

This team can score, they can't play defense. Great to pull this out though, it was bound to happen at some point. Let's hope this somehow propels them to something bigger and they can get on some kind of positive streak.

First time this season I've seen the Wolves look gritty. That's the thing about tonight's win that gives me hope this team is about to take off. On the other hand, the injury to Ricky troubles me.

Great win indeed. Love and ricky getting hurt troubles me though. Hope its nthing serious.

On another note, How good has pek been?? the guy is a consistent 20-10 threat every game now, he just do what he does best over and over in every game. You cant really stop the guy because he is so strong and works so hard. You just have to live with pek getting his.

Martin with a big game and big shot. The guy is the most unorthodox player in the league. Aside form his weird shooting form, some of his shot attempts like his awkward looking runners and fade aways would have gotten players benched. But not him, thats just his game.

Love: 26 pts, 14 reb, 8 ast.
Pekovic: 22 pts, 14 reb.
Martin: 26 pts.
Rubio: 9 pts, 12 ast, 4 stl.
Brewer: 15 pts, 4 ast.

Bruise Brothers were huge tonight. Love grinded it out tonight and surely gained more respect from us all. Showing why he's the best PF in the world. Wasn't a great game by him and he still had absurd numbers. Almost messed around and got the trip-dub.

Pekovic has been worth his contract and honestly, probably playing better than $12M per. All-Star caliber. 19 times out of 20, he wins his position matchup by far. Consistent is the word that comes to mind with him. Night in and night out I feel really confident in Pek getting 20/10. Not to bring Love down a notch, but I feel as confident in Pek's scoring nightly as I do Love's. How about that little 15-foot jumper and turn-around baseline jumper Pek's showing more and more this year? Gotta love the big guy.

"Gritty" is the word for that win, and I like it. When Pek missed a 3 footer with a minute left (after another awesome game by him, BTW), I couldn't help but think "Here we go again". But everyone stepped up in the last 2 minutes. Love and Rubio battled through injuries like warriors, until Ricky just couldn't go anymore. Corey hit a huge three from the corner. On their winning shot, they didn't look disorganized, but instead ran their offense beautifully. And Martin wanted the ball, and made the shot. Adelman lined up the defense effectively, and Luc completely took Thompson out of the play, forcing an outside shot by an ice cold Barnes. A textbook finish to a game...finally!!!!!! Nice to have that monkey off our backs.

Good news tweeted from Zgoda late last night: Both Love and Rubio talking only about ankles, not knees, and vowing to play tonight. Except for Doper being at the game, I would rest them to set up a win in Chicago. We're seven point dogs in Portland, but as Zgoda tweeted, they're not playing their best ball right now.

Chicago just can't score. Even on a bad day with our offense I think we can pull out a win against them. Thibs is fantastic and Noah has the will to win any given night, but they average 93 points a game and only score 95 against the Chris Paul-less Clippers. We know LA's defense is shitty. Chicago does hold opponents to 93 points though. Even with a banged up Rubio and Love we should still beat them. I wouldn't rest anybody. I'd go for the win tonight at all costs. Keep the streak going and build momentum. As our confidence grows, so does our win count. Resting guys seems too conservative right now. We need a couple lengthy playoff pushes.

Can't ignore the fact that Chicago is 7-3 their last 10...it's not going to be a cakewalk, especially if Love and/or Rubio are hobbled. I don't see us winning both games, and it's vitally important that we don't lose both, so I would be laser focused on that Bulls game if I were Adelman. Nobody does it better than Popovich...sacrificing one game for the benefit of the season.

While I agree the Chicago game is the one we HAVE to get, the Wolves cannot afford to throw in the towel on ANY game before it even starts! They've already squandered away too many games this season...

But having said that, I expect tonight's game to be very tough. Portland is steaming mad about the all-star voting. They want to bury Love and the Wolves so bad. It may get ugly, especially if Love and Rubio are hobbled. Although maybe all that angst will work against them!
