If we include Pek with Rubio. I would want Westbrook, Lamb, and Adams back.

I'd take the Kiwi Dwight over the Greek Batum anyday!

You mean Kiwi Dwight over Greek Durant.

Westbrook is a star
With a bad knee. Pass

Re: Rubio for Westbrook
Papal nailed it. I'll elaborate. The only reason the Thunder would deal Westbrook to us for anything other than Love is if they have serious concerns about Westbrook's knee -- which is precisely why we shouldn't do the deal if available. Honestly, I have serious concerns about Westbrook's knee.
Truth is, the Wolves have two choices -- either blow it up, which means dealing Love; or take one more shot before next season to shore up the roster around Love, Ricky and Pek. We won't have any cap room next summer. If we don't make the playoffs and don't finish 9th in the West, we'll have a low lottery pick. Our trade assets outside our core three are underwhelming. So improving the roster around our core three will be difficult. But I'd rather see us take a shot at it before blowing things up.

Lip - I agree with you. I hope Flip gets it done before the trade deadline. Lowry or Dragic or Nelson would be a good upgrade for us.

Re: Rubio for Westbrook
Is Westbrook's knee injury worse than what happened to Rubio's knee?
After all, they're being traded for one another. Isn't a lot of Westbrook's problems simply from trying to rush back too quickly from knee surgery?

Re: Rubio for Westbrook
How about following deal:
Pek / Rubio
for
Irving / Varejao / Miles
Now, this is obviously just for fun, but a team like the Cavs may think about this type of deal. I am a believer that we need a more dynamic scoring PG to be more relevant as a playoff contender.
Just a thought.
