Now, this is obviously just for fun, but a team like the Cavs may think about this type of deal. I am a believer that we need a more dynamic scoring PG to be more relevant as a playoff contender.

Just a thought.

Westbrook >>> Irving

I like the idea, though. Kyrie's still extremely young and very talented. I don't see him as a winner, though. He's like Melo, in my opinion. Talent level is amongst the highest in the NBA, but he doesn't make his team better. Look at this year. He's got Deng, Waiters, Varejao, Thompson and Jack. Still can't a playoff spot in the NBA Least as of right now.

Kyrie and Love would be fun to watch, though. Bet we'd see a ton of Uncle Drew commercials.

I agree with your feeling about Irving making people better. Although I do think that Irving and Love are a playoff core for sure. They compliment eachother well with a variety of role players around them.

Also, Kyrie's a terrible defender. We'd be going from Ricky's defense, which is still very good if not elite, to Kyrie's defense, which is Jose Calderon bad. Better hope Varajao stays healthy and swats everything because Kyrie let's people drive on him all the time.
