Because they've seen what he can do and he performed well for 2+ years. He's had a rough January, but that doesn't mean he was a wasted pick.
Depends on what ur expections of a high draft pick are. By the numbers hes a top 25 pg in the league. Meaning hes maybe 20. Is that worthy of where he was drafted?

Because they've seen what he can do and he performed well for 2+ years. He's had a rough January, but that doesn't mean he was a wasted pick.
He's been the worst shooter in NBA history for 3 seasons now. "He does other things well.... blah blah blah."
Rubio as a starting PG in the NBA does not win. Aaron Craft types work in college... not the NBA. You have to be able to score. At the least, you have to be able to shoot.
Yeah this idea that doin other things well is good enough doesnt fly with me. I think fans are resigned to the fact that Love will be gone so they're latching on to something or someone to root for.
