I would like to see both those guys in a wolves uniform. Getting athletes at PF and SF would elevate Rubio's game. We could probably get more for Love, but I am sick of seeing 3 or 4 team trades that are completely unrealistic.

He didn't offer up a 1st round pick along with Love... so probably not.

Think about what we got for Al Jefferson before we start overvaluing what we can get for Love. There is a difference between what we *should* get and what we *will* get.

Well, think about the difference between Al Jefferson and Kevin Love before you value what could be brought back via trade. Jefferson wasn't even an All-Star, though probably deserved a bid at one time. Love's a top-five player in the NBA. Big, big difference.

New person in charge as well. Kahn was/is a moron. Even if you have no faith in Flip, he's still better than Kahn. I'd expect him to get far more than Thad Young and Evan Turner.

For starters, Kahn didn't know the game of basketball. At least Flip played/coached. Kahn had a bad relationship with Love. Flip seems to have a pretty good relationship Love. Kahn gave AK a two-year, 20M deal. Flip stayed away from AK. Kahn traded away a first round pick just to get rid of a former lottery pick. Flip traded away D-Will and got a defensive specialist. Even if Flip isn't a good GM, he's no where near as bad as Kahn.

Flip better than Kahn? Yep. But I can't think of a lower bar. From horrible to bad is indefensible. Taylor screwed up hiring Kahn and reached back to the old country club for his surrogate son. We're seeing the results.
