yeah it is happening, Memphis will push really hard for playoff spot, and guess what? yeah they are quality team, Courtney Lee helped them immensely also .. still dont know why we havent traded for him, he went for J.Bayless expiring contract, so the price was not high

Yup. I keep saying it, but our chance to make hay was when we started off this so-called easy stretch of games. We got nice wins against Washington and Milwaukee to start things off, but after that, the trouble began. Losing those three home games to Dallas, OKC (without Westbrook), and Phoenix (without Bledsoe) absolutely dinged our playoff hopes, and perhaps even more so, our team psyche. Does anyone on the squad really believe deep down that they can win a close game?
I'm not completely giving up, but the Western Conference really leaves no room for error. And going 0-10 in close games is way too much error. It's really unfortunate, because I believe we have a pretty damn good squad - and we've been reasonably healthy for once!

I've all but mentally checked out of the playoff hunt. I just know this team isn't really in it

Q -- I agree. Even more troubling is that we've failed to make hay even though we haven't lost any of our starters to injury. In contrast, the Warriors lost their starting SF Iggy for an extended period, the Grizzlies lost starting center/best player Marc Gasol, the Thunder have lost their starting PG/second best player for an extended period and recently lost him again for possibly the rest of the season, the Suns recently lost their starting PG at least until after the allstar break, and the Clippers recently lost their starting PG/best player Chris Paul for at least 6 weeks. In addition, I believe that Houston's best player, James Harden, missed a number of games.
Yet all but one of the aforementioned teams are ahead of the Wolves in the standings while the other one, Memphis, is tied with the Wolves 3.5 games behind the 8th team in the West. Anyone who doesn't have serious doubts about the Wolves making the playoffs must be high on something that can't be purchased legally.
