If any of you are sufficiently bored/snowed in, NBATV will be showing the Iowa Energy game on NBATV at 3:40EST today

Yep, Thursday night too tape delayed. If anyone can watch, I'd love to get a Shabazz report in this thread.

I'm higher on Muhammad than most on this board having watched him live a lot last year. He was maddening at times, but more often showed a brilliance on offense that I think will translate to the NBA. He can score in so many ways...fast breaks, put back rebounds, moving without the ball (contrary to what some believe, Muhammad is an explosive jumper), creating on his own one on one, and even from three=point range. He hasn't looked anything like the guy I watched last year so far in Summer League and limited regular season play, but I think he can be a consistent 16-18 point scorer. He has a special talent, and Lip's reports about his work effort just complete the picture. I like the D League move and still expect Shabazz to flourish here.

I'm home from my classes, game set to record and I plan to watch it live anyway. I'll do my best to highlight his positive and negative plays. Think it'd be cool if someone else on this board watched the game and did the same and then we could compare. Make sure we didn't miss anything. Hope he gets sufficient minutes though!

Been in favor of sending Shabazz to the DLeague from the start of the season, but I think Bud' injury derailed that plan. Reason for thinking that way is that with Bud likely days away from making his debut, Shabazz got sent down. It adds up. I'm still very open to Shabazz even though he wasn't impressive in Summer League. Hope he makes me proud! Lol

Good luck Bazz, make us proud. Keep a positive attitude and get back by March ready to contribute. We can't bare to watch other teams' rookies and 2nd year players become starters and solid bench guys

Moving very well without the ball. Getting dunks off cuts regularly.

Shabazz going nuts now. Huge tomahawk dunk and now a three-point play off a putback.

And now a corner three. They aren't playing slouches either. Ike Diogu, Rudy Gobert, and Brian Butch are a few names you'll recognize. Iowa seems to be full of talent with a bunch of former NBA players. Jarvis Varnado, Marquis Teague, Shabazz, Othys Jeffers, and Kalin Lucas all play for Iowa.
