Trade Ricky...

Post by Ricky Bricky [enjin:8559166] »

while he has some value. He is not worth the money he will demand when his contract is up and he is DEFINITELY not a player that deserves anything more than 7-8 million per year at most. A PG that is the primary ball handler and cannot shoot kills a team in crunch time which has happened time and time again. His flat, ugly jump/set shot is mechanically broken and he cannot finish around the rim, particularly with his left hand, and especially when there is any contact. It is hard to believe he has been playing professional basketball since 14 years old and still cannot shoot so it's very unlikely his shot will ever become even average. He is also a very overrated on ball defender. Goran Dragic outplayed him on both ends of the floor...pretty sad.

New poster...life time Wolves fan. Fed up with watching Rubio and tired of hearing people make excuses. He still has name brand value and the Wolves need to seriously consider getting something before they're stuck with a $12 million + PG that cannot create his own shot. I'm not against pass first PG's but perimeter players should be at least an average shooter, be able to finish at the rim at least some of the time, or at least appear on some level to have these areas improving. Like I said he's been playing professionally since 14 and his shot looks less natural than any player that comes immediately to mind.

I don't know why you're being so harsh on Rubio just because he's been outscored 47 - 1 by the opposing PG in the 4th quarter and OT of 4 close losses to two teams ahead of the Wolves in the standings.

That seems entirely unfair.

Good point Abe....I rescind all previous comments. Ricky Rubio is the Spanish Jesus. I will never spew such blasphemy again.

That guy is probably lurking outside my window.
