This thread reminds me of the old board. Good ole the Wolves suck, we all know it, so all you can do is laugh. Hilarious. Does anyone really trust flip to trade Ricky for something better?

i have no trust in Flip, i disliked the offseason and was suspicious about draft picks, i kinda dislike idea of bad coach turning into good GM, all problems we have are based on bad ownership unable to sign good GM and then bad GM screwing up everything

I don't know why you're being so harsh on Rubio just because he's been outscored 47 - 1 by the opposing PG in the 4th quarter and OT of 4 close losses to two teams ahead of the Wolves in the standings.

Think we could get Trey Burke for Ricky?

Actually, I am also firmly in the camp of trading Ricky. He is like having Shaq at the end of the game. You just can't seem to play them and have close game success. Last night, I swear at times the Suns literally had no one guarding him...at least not within 10 feet.

The guy that actually makes some sense would be Kyle Lowry. He is seemingly very available, and they certainly may like kicking the tires on Rubio for a couple years rather than committing to Vazquez next year. People will argue for Ricky here, but I like Lowry much better as a complete player.

Interesting idea. Trading Rubio for Lowry would be something that could work for both teams considering Lowry's a free agent at the end of the year. Don't think it's something that Flip would do, however, especially in year one as Prez of Op.

I like Lowry a lot, but would hate to give up Ricky. Kahn really screwed this team with signing and drafting PG. Session, Ridnour, and Barea. Flip then committed to much to borderline wings in Brewer and Budinger. I honestly think DWill would have been an option to the Raptors for Lowry.

D-Will for Lowry? There's not a GM in the league that would entertain that phone call. Not even our very own David Kahn would take that and he's the one that drafted Derrick's ass.

The sad part is that both Ridnour and Sessions would both be a sizeable upgrade for this team over Barea. We ended up with the wrong one of the three!

I think you might have been able t get Lowry for DWill before the season started. They were looking to tank. He is worthless now that he is a King. Everyone knows it was not environment.

I get not wanting to give up Ricky, but by all statistical measures, Lowry is BY FAR the superior player. And what do you then do with Ricky? Play off the bench? Not sure that is a good idea. Just don't think we have the pieces to get a guy like Lowry without including Ricky.
