Good game by Shabazz. He still seems disinterested at times which took him out of a lot of plays, but that could be more due with his lack of familiarity with the team. Given this is a D-League showcase, guys are going iso a lot so they didn't get him the ball as much as he probably should have.
A majority of his points came off put backs and dunks. He is a high flyer for sure. I didn't think he was athletic as what he showed today. And he really loves to run. Any time their was a miss and a potential fast break opportunity, he would sprint down the court looking for the ball. His spacing on these breaks weren't great, but I love the effort and he finishes pretty well around the rim.
His defense was decent, he doesn't close out as hard as you would like and his guy was getting by him early in the game.
I think he's one of those guys who will get more and more effective the better he is playing and more involved he is. Once he started getting some looks inside and a put-back he really started to get into it. Looking forward to the rest of his stint with the Energy and if I remember anything more I'll add

IF anyone is interested I think they have complete games later on the NBDL youtube channel. I haven't watched a Wolves game for a while so I'll probably just watch the highlights 2x and be done with it. lol

Not really impressed with the highlights. I don't see him getting those buckets in a NBA game. Then again playing with Rubio he might. Not with JJ.

are you kidding me? how can you not be impressed?
even disregarding his scoring that man is an elite offensive rebounding machine

The way he plays he looks like an undersized 4. Just not sure how that will work in the NBA.
