If you're not too busy with your "girlfriend" (or whatever is more embarrassing than saying it's a girlfriend), feel free to type "Aaron Afflalo improvement" into Google. Seems I'm not the only one shocked by it, and in one of the articles, Afflalo even admits he has actually worked over a summer. If you can drag yourself away from constantly posting to this board and/or your girlfriend and/or whatever it is you really do, feel free to read some of the articles

I live in Orlando, and I've asked several people who actually like/follow the Tragic, and NONE of them saw this coming. In a related story, they all think Eric Gordon isn't worth $14m or $15m a year either, but feel free to keep that going (with the help of your other screen names).

Just a little dig at Jason. He lambasted me and the Kiwi kid last season for suggesting Afflalo was a decent player and a great option for the Wolves at $7+M. I forgot all about it until Jason got really upset in another thread recently and went apesh!t crazy again.

I apologize for that quip getting him upset again in this thread. My bad.

If you type "Aaron Afflalo improvement" into Google, chances are Google's going to correct you on your spelling. His first name is spelled "Arron" as Abe had it initially.

I live in northern Florida. People around here are intelligent enough to know Afflalo's a good basketball player. Definitely worthy of being a starter on a championship contender. Did I expect him to score the ball as well as he has this year? No, but I was already in favor of him before this season. Good, solid two-way player that made the leap this year. I wish Flip could have acquired him with the No. 9 pick and D-Will that's for sure. What a difference that could have made. Ugh.

Shame to see what's happened to Gordon. At one time, I thought he had star potential. Injuries and that trade have occured so that's likely never going to happen. At least he's getting paid. Lol

1. In a related story, if you type "Metta World Peace" into Google, it brings up Ron Artest's wikipedia page, so I guess it knows everything.

2. I totally believe you live in North Florida by the way you used the word intelligent, but then you brought it all home by suggesting that a guy with a 15 PER making $7.5m can be a starter on a championship team. And good job being a person who is no way the same person who posts under the screen name "AbeVigodaLive" and suggesting the same trade he did. And if I would have known Afflalo would start caring about his career, I would have been in favor of that trade as well.

3. Yes it is a shame what happened to Gordon. But it did happen. And acting like it didn't may make someone call into question that person's, um, intelligence.

Everybody knows I'm really SameOldDrew. Camden is simply Lip's alternate username.

Duh. Get with the program.

1. Very good. Google is smart enough to correct your mistakes for you. We know that.

2. PER is a "stat" for idiots. I don't know how many times that needs to be said on this board. $7.5M for his production is a steal so we'll continue your foolishness there. And where the hell have you been? I had been talking about 9/DWill for Afflalo all the way back to the ESPN days. Apparently you weren't with us over there. Last statement's rather silly/stupid. Afflalo's gotten better every year in the NBA. Improvement is the number one sign of a player caring about their career.

3. ...? This must be a shot at Abe because it in no way rings a bell to anything I've said.

When can we all agree that our bench has sucked dick and that's the universal problem in every game we've played this year except for two or three? I don't understand the thought process of some of you at times. Go ask the Blazers/Heat/Thunder/Spurs/Pacers to win a large amount of games with a god awful bench. They can't!

[I respect practically everyone's opinions on here, but was name-dropping in order to make my point. Wasn't doing so to start a war.]

Adelman sets up our rotations and our system. You can't blame the bench without him taking some of the blame.

I would disagree with Adelman taking the blame for how often most of the bench goes without scoring a single bucket. It isn't rare when JJ is the only bench player with any points, or with more than two. As coach you cannot make the shots, only try to put them in position to make them.
