If you're not too busy with your "girlfriend" (or whatever is more embarrassing than saying it's a girlfriend), feel free to type "Aaron Afflalo improvement" into Google. Seems I'm not the only one shocked by it, and in one of the articles, Afflalo even admits he has actually worked over a summer. If you can drag yourself away from constantly posting to this board and/or your girlfriend and/or whatever it is you really do, feel free to read some of the articles

I live in Orlando, and I've asked several people who actually like/follow the Tragic, and NONE of them saw this coming. In a related story, they all think Eric Gordon isn't worth $14m or $15m a year either, but feel free to keep that going (with the help of your other screen names).

If you type "Aaron Afflalo improvement" into Google, chances are Google's going to correct you on your spelling. His first name is spelled "Arron" as Abe had it initially.

I live in northern Florida. People around here are intelligent enough to know Afflalo's a good basketball player. Definitely worthy of being a starter on a championship contender. Did I expect him to score the ball as well as he has this year? No, but I was already in favor of him before this season. Good, solid two-way player that made the leap this year. I wish Flip could have acquired him with the No. 9 pick and D-Will that's for sure. What a difference that could have made. Ugh.

Shame to see what's happened to Gordon. At one time, I thought he had star potential. Injuries and that trade have occured so that's likely never going to happen. At least he's getting paid. Lol

1. In a related story, if you type "Metta World Peace" into Google, it brings up Ron Artest's wikipedia page, so I guess it knows everything.

2. I totally believe you live in North Florida by the way you used the word intelligent, but then you brought it all home by suggesting that a guy with a 15 PER making $7.5m can be a starter on a championship team. And good job being a person who is no way the same person who posts under the screen name "AbeVigodaLive" and suggesting the same trade he did. And if I would have known Afflalo would start caring about his career, I would have been in favor of that trade as well.

3. Yes it is a shame what happened to Gordon. But it did happen. And acting like it didn't may make someone call into question that person's, um, intelligence.

1. Very good. Google is smart enough to correct your mistakes for you. We know that.

2. PER is a "stat" for idiots. I don't know how many times that needs to be said on this board. $7.5M for his production is a steal so we'll continue your foolishness there. And where the hell have you been? I had been talking about 9/DWill for Afflalo all the way back to the ESPN days. Apparently you weren't with us over there. Last statement's rather silly/stupid. Afflalo's gotten better every year in the NBA. Improvement is the number one sign of a player caring about their career.

3. ...? This must be a shot at Abe because it in no way rings a bell to anything I've said.

My name is Jason. I had a screename that started with Jason on the BSPN board, as I do here. I don't remember a "Camden", but for talent as great as yours, I would be more than willing to go back and check.

{Jeopardy music}

What!??!?!? No Camden on the BSPN board? I'm shocked!!!!! Well, now that I think about is, lying about something so easily checked does kind of fit in with what a North Floridian would think is "intelligent".

But here's how you can redeem yourself: You don't like PER. That's your right. But I am not going to watch EVERY game because I just don't have the time (does anyone?). So come up with something better that doesn't involve something that happened in 2009 you think pertains to today, or you lying (again) about how you see every minute of every game. Until you do, save it. We all know how "Camden" feels about PER.

And Afflalo had a real drop off last year after a strong contract year. That's why people are/were discussing it.

I would disagree with Adelman taking the blame for how often most of the bench goes without scoring a single bucket. It isn't rare when JJ is the only bench player with any points, or with more than two. As coach you cannot make the shots, only try to put them in position to make them.

You can disagree, but I don't see people in a position to make shots in our second unit, that is the point. I see pure chaos. Which is why I wanted Brewer on the second unit from the beginning of the season. I actually think if we are going to play JJ ball, there should be another player in there who can excel at systemless, chaotic basketball. Brewer fits that bill. I think there are a variety of other rotational choices Adelman could have made since the beginning of the season as well. I just don't see that the second unit is in a position to make shots except for JJ launching from 30 feet.

Lol what a useless response. I was expecting something well-said or hopefully numbers-based, but sadly, it was all ignorant garbage.

We'll all be here when you are ready to explain who you were on the ESPN board and what you got that's better than PER.

of course i do. can you read? 14-62 from the field (22.6 percent) avg 5.2 pts per.
Most noteably? In those 9 fourth quarters, hes scored a grand total of 3 pts. That includes some overtime aswell. Yikes!

4TH QUARTER=CRUNCH-TIME.

Ricky has a +2 net O/DRTG. JJ has a -8 net. Yes, let's cut all of Ricky's minutes in favor of JJ.
