The fuck? Mbah a Moute's a good piece to have on your bench and one I didn't think we could even get for D-Will. Mbah a Moute has actually been a big reason as to why the bench play has been better. Go ahead though, continue to hate the trade because you have a false reality of what Williams' value was.

82games offers pretty good objective data, and it shows Mbah a Moute's own vs. opponent production has been atrocious since arriving in MN.

I don't think he's a bad player in the right situation, but I don't think it's uneducated to say I can't think of a player in the NBA more similar to Cunningham than Mbah a Moute. It just doesn't fill any needs.

LMAO......SJM......do us all a favor and let's start with simple facts.......the messed up relatity that only exists in your head is not relevant to conversations on this board.

When is the last time that the wolves had a .500 season? Let's start there and then work our way through.

Let's debate this....show SOMEONE that you are not a complete idiot.

In fairness to SJM, we were around .500 when Ricky went down two seasons ago. So I think SJ was just suggesting that .500 was this team's realistic starting point with a healthy Love, Ricky and Pek. You can agree or disagree, but his assumption was fair. Flip made a number of moves last summer and we're a .500 team. That was the essence of SJ's point.

You can disagree with someone, but I see no reason for the over the top personal attacks and hyperbole I've seen from some on this board. I really miss the old ESPN board. The conversations with posters like Q, Drew, Abe, Mook and others were fun and often educational. This board has taken an ugly turn, led by a few who I won't call out individually. I'm rapidly losing interest.

I'll agree with Lip on this point. If you disagree with someone else's opinion it's no reason to start name calling. That's a third grade tactic. Regarding our favorite squad right now I'm still optimistic we will finish strong and make the playoffs. I think we could use 1 more good shooter after Love, Martin, Bud, Hummel but not 4. Brewer, LMBM, and Others are all acceptable bunch players. The biggest problem he have right now is Rubios offense. Once he figures out how to consistently put up an efficient 15 a game with 10 dimes we will be as good as anyone. I'll give it two years and we'll be there. This team has chemistry and the guys like each other. That alone will breed hard work and improvement by everyone. We can pretty much beat anyone at home and the road games will come once we get the bench healthy. I predict a very focused effort tonight and 65% chance of a win. Clips are playing backend of b2b Comimg off a win. Wolves are hungry for redemption.

Chemistry is a hard thing to build and an easy thing to lose. I suspect Love is not going to be on the positive side of that ledger if/when this team misses the playoffs yet again this season. You cannot have your best/highest paid player counting the days until his freedom and expect the team to be united towards a common goal.

IF they miss the playoffs is a big IF. Right now they are .500 after playing a very tough schedule without 2 key bench players. 5 games back of the eight seed right now. They should jump over the Lakers, Mavericks , Suns, and Nuggets before all is said and done. They'll have tie breaker on all those teams except Nuggets.

I hope you're right. However the fact that they've lost to many of the weaker teams within the tough part of their schedule gives me pause. I think Tim is hogging all the optimism as I'm running short.

Come on Lip! I am very disappointed that I need to tell you this. A win/loss record is an objective thing. In the NBA the end score doesn't say "basically Wolves 92, Suns 88". A team either scored 92 points or they didn't. The same thing goes with wins.

For example, I know that the Wolves won 31 games last year. That is not an issue to debate. As long as we have to pretend that someone's messed up head is as valid as documented facts, there can be no basis for conversation on this board.

If you chose to argue that the Wolves did not actually exist as a team last year, because in your mind they didn't, that argument is of zero benefit to those that want to discuss basketball on this board. Should anyone ever make that claim........it would be an idiotic claim.

Exactly the same with SJM (and you, Lip, if you agree with his version of reality) saying that we were "basically a .500 team last year" is a blatant lie.....and an idiotic thing to say.

If we delve into everyone's lala land, it will be impossible to discuss basketball, which is why we are all on this board.

Lip, also, you were first person to respond to a post that I made on the ESPN boards..... you called me stupid.....then Bigten (i believe his name was) called me "worse than stupid"'...........

so let's not pretend that there is a high horse anywhere around you.

Quite sure the great Lipoli has thrown around an insult here and there as well. Let's not act all high and mighty right now.
