Conference Imbalance

Post by Bayou Wolf [enjin:6635650] »

As of December 18, 2013, the Eastern Conference has THREE teams with records at or above .500. The Western Conference has NINE and three more at one game below .500 (including us). The league imbalance is simply ridiculous.

It's not really something that can be legislated away. When I look at the two conferences, the thing that stands out to me is that most of the idiot GM's and/or owners are in the East. I don't consider BOS in that group. They are bad because they are blowing it up. But you put a team OWNED by James Dolan and GM'ed by Michael Jordan in the West, and in four years you are going to have a team that could very well go winless.

The absurdity of the imbalance increases every day. Tonight Houston, Memphis and even Western doormats Utah and Sacramento all beat their Eastern opponents...on the road. That makes our Boston loss sting a little more.
