Seems like the wolves are doing pretty well so far. Staying relatively healthy to this point, and beating the teams they should. The wolves don't seem to play down to competition this year, which is a huge plus, and are for the most part putting the lesser teams away early.
Looking at our schedule so far we have played 5 teams that would currently make the PO's with Orlando being the one team below .500. We have a 3-2 record against the PO teams, although Westbrook was missing from OKC. That puts us at 4-2 against the rest of the league which isn't bad considering there were a few possible PO teams among them.
The schedule is about to get a little tougher for the rest of November and December, and should give us a better idea how good this team can be going forward. They look good offensively, although like a few others have pointed out, the fastbreak points will likely get tougher to come by. How much that affects Brewer in other areas will remain to be seen.
I think we are built too much toward jumpshots on the offensive end, but if Pek can get back to his old ways it should help minimize the pain on the off nights.
