As a poster who was really disappointed with Loves attitude and whining to the refs last year, I must say he has really cleaned this up. Not only that, Love seems to be playing better on the defensive end and really being a leader this year. His whole demeanor is totally different.
Also Corey Brewer. How I love Brewer, this kid has put it together. Nothing excites me more than absolutely tenacious defensive effort that I see night in and night out from Brewer and Rubio. There anticipation is amazing. Mostly though there hustle and effort is what a lot of NBA players lack unfortunately. I love it how they bust there balls on every play. How Corey cuts hard every time and with intensity.
Then Kevin Martin. I knew he was good offensively, but really glad we got this guy. Flip managed a pretty offseason I will say.
One last note, I really like Dieng. Kid is raw, but you absolutely can see talent is there. Possibly a Dikembe Mutombo with his blocking ability. (on other hand not too impressed with Bazz at all)
Really excited about all the potential we have THIS SEASON! Its been way too long. This season is much deserved for all the long suffering Timberwolves fans.

Kevin Love's impressed me the most. Go figure. The best player on the team and the leader in the MVP race right now, in my opinion as well as plenty of others. His scoring is amazing. Best rebounder in the league. His passing as a big man is up there at the top as well with the Gasols, Noah and Blake Griffin. Defense has improved a TON. He's making the big shots. Living at the free throw line. Being a leader on and off the court. I'm just extremely proud of these first nine games from him.
Honorable mentions to K-Mart and Brewer. They've been exceptional. Just what this team needed. Great signings by Flip. Liked them initially; love them right now.

in todays game in 3rd period he got ball from Ricky (great pass) and could shoot over Irving, which he would easily managed to do, but he extended the play by passing to wide open Brewer in corner who nailed the 3 .. i was in shock, because he would not do that in past few seasons and he would take shot himself .. it looks like the team is clicking together greatly and Love looks more mature, maybe he sorted out few things when he could not play last season

m4gor, You might be right about Love sorting a few things out from last season. That whole ordeal may have been a blessing in disguise. If everyone remembers his stint of 18 games, it wasn't just the shot that wasn't falling. It was slumped shoulders, complaining to the refs, and not getting back on defense. And then he did that interview where he came off as even more of a whiny west coast b*tch. I remember many fans being downright angry with him and declaring Ricky Rubio as the true leader of this team.
Wow, what a 180-degree turnaround. The guy not only elevated his game, but also his leadership. He is THE clear leader of the team right now and an MVP candidate. Amazing.

I go with Rick Adelman - He has this disparate set of tools working like a team -

As noted, Love's passing has improved significantly.
He's more than DOUBLED his previous high assist average... so far. That's not an inconsequential stat.
