4-6 in last 10 games. 2-4 in last six. Not a good stretch. Thought we were over this bullshit.

Interesting that Love was the only Wolves player in the positive side of the +/- stat with +4. How? I have no idea.

*Pek scored a 0.

7-6 after tonight.

BRK, HOU, IND, DEN, DAL, OKC, SA, MIA, DET, PHI. Next 10 games.

W, W, L, W, W, L, L, L, W, W. Hopefully looking at 6-4 over that stretch. 13-10 maybe. Hopefully we steal games against OKC and maybe SA if they rest Duncan.

This is also could get really brutal. Kill me now if we lose to HOU, DEN, DAL and DET.

Answer? He's the only one who didn't have to play with any of the bench guys?

The team played poorly. And that started with its best player. Love shot poorly outside and seemed bothered by the Clippers length inside. BUT... I have to admit that this poor version of 2013 Kevin Love is still light year's better than previous editions of crappy shooting Kevin Love.

He had 8 assists. Was it 5 in the 4th quarter? He found a way to do something to help the team stay close, even if it meant deferring to Kevin Martin.

Other thoughts:

1. Corey Brewer canNOT shoot three pointers unless he's in the corner. Seriously... Adelman should send Bobby Jackson out to tackle him before he attempts another one.
2. Is Blake Griffin becoming serviceable from 15 - 18 feet? Oh oh...
3. I don't know exact measurements, but I'm convinced DeeAndre Jordan has a 17'8" wingspan.
4. 5 - 23 fg from the bench. Sadly, it might have looked even worse. Crawford matched those 5 makes (4 threes) by himself.
5. Chris Paul was toying with Rubio. Or, so it seemed. The bigger issue is that the Clippers certainly showed how to attack Rubio down the stretch with a shooting PG (see Lillard and others...).
6. And it shows WHY the Wolves have so much further to go. Teams can go under picks EVERY time vs. Rubio without any fear.
7. Brooklyn is in a freefall. The lost again. TO CHARLOTTE. So, Friday looks like a win. If it doesn't happen... sound the alarms. The West is too good to be one of "those" teams and expect to make the playoffs.

I suppose it was out of the question to hack Jordan down the stretch rather than watching Paul light us up. My bad, that would require coaching. Maybe knowing that Jordan shoots 46% from the line might have helped.

OUr bench is really becoming a sad liability. I know most of us are hoping for Budinger to come back soon, but realistically, he might take even longer to get his legs and game pace. He WONT be the deciding factor. Flip mentioned he might need to make a move, but even after a dozen games now....the Wolves need to make a move with Shved, Williams and Barea. We need a servicable PG, A swagger 6th man...swagger, and a big man who can compliment Cunningham. Too many quick threes too.

Paul absolutely destroyed us in that 4th quarter. I'm not sure what more Rubio could have done. Our bigs had to show harder on those ball screens and not let him get a shot off. I know that allows Paul then to dump it off to the rolling big, but Rubio often anticipates those passes and picks them off. Plus we have to rely on another guy rotating inside to cover for it. What can't happen is Paul getting free looks from 16-feet.

It's tough to feel good about this squad right now. Things just aren't clicking like they were at the beginning of the season.
