Courtney Lee carries some baggage:

1. Minnesota would be his 5th team in 6 seasons. If he was such a difference maker, why is he being shopped/discarded so often?
2. Boston chose to go with Jordan Crawford and a just-signed Terrence Williams over Lee in its PLAYOFF rotation last season. Think about that... they passed up a "safe" "dependable" "defender" with championship series experience who was with the team all season in favor of two guys who had largely been laughed at for their immaturity and scatter-brain performances up to that point in their careers. I thought that was a huge red flag.

Boston was desperate for somebody to step up and give consistent performances on the wing. Apparently, Lee failed to do so.

Good points. I think Adelman would have to vouch for him.

Sounds like the Kings have interest in D Will. I can almost guarantee you that Chuck Hayes would be the guy we get in return. Real Adelman type player and one of the best passing big men in the league. I certainly wouldn't want us to trade D Will straight up for Chuck Hayes, but would think about it if they threw in a future 1st.

Personally I'd prefer Jason Thompson....

If the Kings want to give us a 1st rounder for D-Will, they can have him and I'll gladly take old man Hayes. That first rounder alone is enough to make me deal D-Will.

Why does Derrick Williams to Sacramento seem to make so much sense?

Oh, because the Kings have no idea what they're doing... I almost forgot.

I'm not sure if Chuck Hayes is a fit here since we have Turiaf. Both play Center. Both are decent passers and man-on-man defenders. Both are limited offensively. One is a lot taller than the other. That's about the only difference. Now we just need to get Turiaf healthy!

I think a lot of the answers we're searching for are in front of our faces. Turiaf, Budinger, Cunningham, and Barea plus one of the starters (Martin or Rubio in this case) is a very solid 5-man unit.

I don't know what to do with D-Will. Assuming that Turiaf and Budinger come back healthy by January, I kind of feel like we are set for the stretch run. I guess Chuck Hayes could be good insurance in the event Turiaf re-injures himself or if Pekovic starts to wear down and miss games.

NYK: PF Kenneth Faried
DEN: SG Iman Shumpert, PF D-Will, 2015 first-round pick via NYK, 2016 first-round pick via MIN
MIN: SF Wilson Chandler

All the salaries work out. These three teams have also worked together in the past (Melo trade). Just a thought. I'd be in favor.

Il do that deal. Need to Put some protection on the 2016 1st and it's a go for me.

You pretty much said what I had in mind on why I don't want to trade for lee.

All of those guys have legit value around this league. Chandler and Faried were playing heavy minutes for a 55-win team. Shumpert was offered straight up for Faried.

The Wolves have no chance to land any of them for Derrick Williams.

I think my earlier deal might work. Unloads some contracts from the Magic and helps them tank. Gives us a really deep bench.
