Kiwi's Wolves vs Mavs Game Thread.

Post by KiwiMatt »

It's 1:40pm Saturday 9th November and a beautiful sunny summers day here in Wellington, New Zealand. But I'm staying in to watch my first regular season (Wolves) game of the year.

Hopefully the Wolves can produce a result similar to today's weather!

Love vs Nowitzki, Martin vs Mayo seem to be the main matchups to watch. But what about Pek vs Dalembert! Will b a good game and fortunately Carter has been suspender for this one for striking Kiwi Steven Adams!

Lets go WOLVES

Never hit a Kiwi...he should get a lifetime suspension!

Thanks for initiating the game thread, Matt...I failed miserably in the Cav and Warrior games. Nice thing about living in Wellington and LA is your Saturday night (and my Friday) is still waiting for us after the game is over. Go Wolves!

I'm glad they suspended Vince. The league needs to protect its emerging superstars. See you in Chicago Matt!

Speaking of Steven Adams. How well is he playing! He'll be starting for the Thunder next year.

Love is 7-3-2 in the first 4 minutes. If he keeps it up and Rick doesn't take him out, he'll finish with 84 points, 36 rebounds, and 24 assists!

Averaging 12 and 8 or something too, wasn't that the bet?

Man, get OUTSIDE! You live in New Zealand!

That would be a pretty good stat line.

Nice job by Jim Pete rebutting Dave Benz' narrative that Pek's scoring is down because the Wolves have more options now (which Pek himself said in an interview yesterday). Jim Pete corrected him and said Pek is getting plenty of shots...he's just not making them.

Love is looking really nice in the corner offense right now, finding cutters off the elbows.

They have cut the lead to 3, we got to step it up. Pek is still struggling.
