The blame for this game has to go on our big 3 (Love, Rubio, Pek) if those 3 can't do the things that need to be done, then we will lose. They shot 16-44. Terrible!!!! Yep, we can blame second stringers as much as we like, but when our best players can't score, we are not a good team.

Golden state is going to be a tough team to beat. Their first 5 are all good passers. They have shooters, athletes, rebounders, playmakers, defenders, shotblockers. They can play small, play big. They are going to be a great team this season.

Our wolves meanwhile, are a 2man offense team with love and martin. Pek has been bad, rubio still cant shoot. jj,corey,dw are hit or miss. Shved has been horrible and dante's offense has been bad as well. Our bench is weak. Pek is not delivering and rubio has got to learn to shoot.

markbbu, I dont think you can blame love for this game. He had 25-16-6. Yes he didnt shoot well but he should have had at least 6 more ft attempts(he drew lots of contacts that resulted in non calls and miss shots). He was the only guy for us who can rebound tonight and he was battling inside. Pek and rubio meanwhile had a bad game. Pek has been medicore to bad so far.

I dont care if Love has nights where he shoots 10/25. Every great scorer has nights like that. Keep shooting the rock Kevin cuz you'll have plenty of 12/20 nites. Its the other guys that have to many 2/8 , 4/14 nites that kill the the offense.

Worldk.......I hear what you are saying, but it is rough to say who the best PF on the floor was tonight. Lee was 22-15 on much more efficient shooting. The way that this team is built, if we don't obviously have the best PF (by a significant margin) on the floor, then we will lose the game. Love has to be head and shoulders above the opposing PF, and tonight he was slightly better, if at all.

I expect Love to play like he deserves a max contract. Tonight he was well below that expectation.

The problem for us is that we only have 2 consistent scoring option. And thats love and martin. Compare to a team like gs where curry, thompson, lee, iggy can carry and initiate their offense.

Our weakness was exposed tonight, our bench is weak, the ones we are relying to carry the bench(jj and dw) are not consistent. Pek has not step up. Rubio can create for others but until he can be a respectable offensive player, defenders will just continue to play him for the pass and that makes it harder for him.

I agree with 100% of what you said also.
