was 1-12 in his first game with the Pistons, 0-6 from beyond the arc.
I let out a private cheer when Detroit picked him right before Flip's pick. I was really concerned that he was Flip's guy, and I just couldn't see using a top 10 pick on him.
Does anyone know if Flip was going to pounce on KCP if he were available? Lip, you may have some insight into this.
Maybe I will be proven wrong on this in the long run, but I think Detroit did us a big favor if KCP was Flip's guy.
KCP
Re: KCP
Im with you long. I wanted nothing to do with kcp in the draft. He reminds me of a smaller less athletic wes johnson who has big holes in his game(poor ball handler and finisher). He isnt even as good of a shooter he is being touted. Dont know how flip sees him but im glad we didnt end up qith him.

Re: KCP
Have to say I'm right with you guys on this one. Back on the ESPN board I continued to express how much uncertainty I had with KCP and didn't really want him with our pick. Felt like a reach and looks even more like a reach for Detroit. I'm extremely happy we got Shabazz and Dieng instead of KCP.

I wanted to draft him. I heard he has a chance to start ahead of Stuckley.
