Where's the other 1,000 words Lip? Lol was expecting some more detail!
I did happen to see this sweet little bounce pass from Ricky, though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=2zhRYi7epZE

Didn't see the game but Shabazz had a nice stat line 4/6 8pts 6 boards and +23 while he was on the floor

I've created a monster and the monster is me. A very wordy monster. :). Sweet bounce pass from Ricky.. Thanks for posting, Cam.

Playing off Volans' observation on Shabazz, wouldn't it be great if he emerged as a rookie of the year candidate as our starting SF?

We'll get to see what he's about against DET. Adelman will likely let him start as he continues to figure out the best option. Brewer, D-Will and Hummel have all gotten a look. I'd be extremely surprised if Shabazz didn't get a "tryout" per say. And yes, that would be fantastic if he emerged into that role and showed his potential. It would also make our team even deeper. Let us all hope! :) :)

I know I tend to be a Turiaf cheerleader at times, but let's not ignore his line tonight...6 points and TWELVE rebounds in 16 minutes, along with a couple assists and a steal. Plus his help defense was sound as usual. With he and Dieng both looking solid in preseason, we may no longer have to hold our breath every time Pek gets nicked or needs a breather.
Oh, and Lip and Cam, I'll join you guys in the "Shabazz as starting SF" dream. Gotta love his motor and quick release on his shot. I still think Corey will start the season as our starting SF, but man would we be good if Shabazz was able to show enough to take it away from him!

Lip is only on the hook for long diatribes after home games. So Lip, you get a free pass tonight. We know you will round into form by the time the regular season starts. And I'll bring back the 2 + 1 at the start of the regular season.
