Ricky must have sucked tonight, ehh? 2-10 from the field. 6 points. Man, we can't win with that production..

Wait what? He had 17 assists and 7 boards too? Played lockdown defense and controlled the tempo of the game? Probably should have had another five assists too.

Ricky was fantastic. Hats off to him and Love for getting this win tonight. Gotta take care of Utah next.

Upcoming Schedule:

@Jazz on 2 days rest
@Blazer on 0 days rest
@Suns on 1 day rest
@Kings on 3 days rest
@Nugs on 1 day rest
Knicks on 1 day rest
Pistons on 1 day rest

They're going to need to get at least five of those IMO. That Blazers game is ugly, they'll be home on one day of rest while also being home since the All-Star break.

I agree, I was thinking this earlier in the third quarter that it would be the singular win that could help the team turn the fortunes around. Pek and Ronny need to get healthy and on the floor ASAP!!

I missed that Indiana had played last night, so my signature win claim sprung a leak. But still, it's a healthy Indiana squad and we were playing without two of our better players. Close enough!

The real test is following up a big win with a good performance against a bad team in Utah. Cant afford to fall back to earth.
If nothing else this team showed heart, I hope to see a team that plays hard to seasons end. Thats all fans can ask for.

Just got back from the game. Wow--very surprising. This game was the opposite of the New Orleans game a few weeks back when the crowd was beyond dead. Tonight the crowd was into it from the jump and the Wolves played accordingly. Love and Ricky both came out hunting for bear and along with some scrappy opportunistic play from Brewer they found it. Then the bench actually held serve (you could hear the crowd holding their breath early in the 4th quarter), and then we closed them out nicely (despite Ricky missing free throws).

Not much to read into this--it's only one quality win--but nonetheless I am a bit surprised and definitely pleased. I thought this might be the game the fans and team completely roll over and admit that this is a lost season. Well, maybe not yet.

One thing I noticed was Indiana playing with a great deal of chippiness in the second half. They came out flat, obviously. But they definitely tried to bully the Wolves a bit in the second half.

West's tricks were called seemingly EVERY time. And, Stephenson showed why he's still on the precipice of crazy town every game. The Wolves responded pretty well.

But, it's pretty obvious the secret is out on how to "attack" the Wolves.
