Our boy Lip usually provides us with info from an "inside source" but here are some other rumors that have apparently come to light.

The reason I didn't want Mayo was that he is the kind of player who needs to have the ball in his hands to be effective and it seems the front office agrees with me. +1 for Volans

Good stuff...thanks for posting, Volans. I'm a Gerald Henderson guy, but he wouldn't have helped with our shooting woes, so I'm glad we went the Martin route instead. I also agree with the take on Mayo. Interesting to hear that Prince was on our radar...first I've heard of that.

Prince would have been a nice one year rental but his contract is for two more years I believe and its worth $7+ mil so I'm glad we settled for Brewer instead
