Baz and adrien where good in the 1st half. Young made some key shots. Lavine, I thought defended lillard pretty well. What I like most is the constant motion from the players. Makes the game easier for everybody when players are moving without the ball and making the defense work.

The switch on everything d is good as well as we have 3 6'8 guys playing the forwards and sg spot and lavine at 6'6 playing pg.

Yup, It seems like Flip went to this out of desperation against Golden State and it worked OK against them. It worked even better tonight. I thought doubling Aldridge was a bit risky, but our rotations out of the double-teams were pretty good. Perhaps Flip is onto something with this strategy.

(he also dumped the zone these past two games).

What the hell do you mean Flip??? I told him four or five days ago to do exactly that. Start playing man and switching on the picks and screens. The only thing Flip did right was starting reading message boards for help!

Flip should be fired tonight for not benching Young. At what point does this guy realize he can't hit the broad side of a barn. 0-5 on 3pters tonight, and taking some with 15-20 seconds left on the shot clock. Maybe when you're 4/16 you might want to think about a different strategy. Young played 36 minutes, took 20 shots, and got 5 rebounds.

Like I mentioned in a different thread, but thad played bad but he made key shots down the stretch to end Portland runs
