It's not like a Mo Williams scenario where what we witnessed in the pre-season was a hot shooting streak that inevitably would regress closer to his average career numbers. Rebounding, hard basket cuts, and inside scoring are very repeatable things and less likely to experience the variable ups and downs of outside shooting.

That being said, I'm still not quite ready to say that he is a net asset on the floor. I think he's gone from a negative to being neutral. But considering he's still early in his second season, I would hope he can eventually be an overall plus for us.

Slowly but surely you're starting to see the light.

He's still the same player with the same limitations he showed at college. However, he's double-downed on his strengths, so that the things he did reasonably well in college he's now doing really well in the NBA: Offensive rebounding, post-ups, aggressiveness. I really think he benefited from that SEAL training. He is noticeably quicker and more explosive than last year.

Can I just say, one reason I kind of like Bazz is that he's a good dunk shouter? You know what I mean. The guys who shout as (or sometimes just a little after) they dunk the ball. They're the Monica Seleses of the basketball world.
