Those problems you mentioned over the last two games would follow him to any position he plays.

What is he though? I can't get a beat on what his real natural strength or position should be. His shot looks smooth, but it doesn't go in. He appears to have poise, yet he turns the ball over a lot. He has a ton of speed, but his inclination is to juke and pull up for a jumper. He is long and athletic, but rarely gets steals.

I'm not ruling anything out with the kid, but I thought Flip was going to give him the Shabazz treatment this season and let him learn in practice and then give him a stint in the D-league at some point. Thrusting him into the starting lineup....Whoa.

Also, this signals that Rubio may be out closer to that 7-8 week time frame rather than 3-4, and YES this team needs another PG because Lavine and Mo is going to lead us to a historically bad season.

Getting the memphis or cavs pick, whichever is lower would be nice for us.

If that happens, bud will have a shot to get himself going with rubio still out. He did have a nice pre season and he looks healthy. Once, rubio returns, whoever between lavine and bud has played better up to that point will probably be the backup sg with the other being the 11th man.

Well he's never going to be our permanent starting point guard, so I hope he becomes a real nice combo guard. But I really get what you are saying about messing with the kid right now. He's made the choice to start him. I'd just as soon see him continue in that role. The experience is invaluable while Ricky is out.

Agree that LaVine should keep starting....for now. Let's see if he can learn on the fly. But if things keep going sideways for him, Flip will need to pull the plug sooner rather than later. But now is too soon; give it at least a few more games.

I wonder if we could get the Rockets to take both Brewer and Bud. Honestly trading him to the Cavs for Waiters would help both teams.

Ugh, Waiters....He's 23 and is playing worse this season than his prior two, neither of which were very good to begin with. Not sure if he'll ever put it all together.

Don't want a guy who refuses to be on the court for the national anthem. Guy's a loser.

You just summed up Wes Johnson. Congratulations.

Rockets own the Pelicans pick top 3 and 20-30 protected for the next three years. That means they convey the pick when it falls from 4-19. I kind of like that. Even though they have played well so far, they are still an injury prone team in the West with a good chance of being in the lottery. I do not really want to trade Corey again but if Flip does, this should be the target.
