There might be small error in my TS% since I didn't remember how many FG attempts exactly one FT attempt is worth. Anyway like SJM wrote Ricky'so ability to draw fouls in 4th quarter increases his TS %. Love also had awful FT % (66%) last year during clutch time and Rubio shot FTs about same level than his career average is..
But as many have already stated sample size is not big enough for clutch statistics to make conclusions. Amount of attempts is quite comparable to the amount of FG attempts during this season. BT. Ricky has had higher FG% than Love this season so far.:) But Love has had much higher TS% because of higher FT rate and much better 3PT%.

no no he was not. Love made more free throws in the 4th quarter then Rubio had attempts
Re: Rubio signed!
So we can all agree JJ sucked really bad in clutch/crunch time though right?
Re: Rubio signed!
But Rubio had more FT attempts per FG attempt, which mean that FTs increased his TS% much more than Love's.

If that's the case, then that stat means zero
Re: Rubio signed!
No, the stat that means zero is the fg%. What counts is the TS%, because that shows how many points you are scoring in relation to offensive possessions.
Re: Rubio signed!
One could make an argument that Rubio's FT's are exaggerated because he handles the ball in the backcourt, and in games with the wolves leading, he may have been intentionally fouled. Still, Rubio shooting 81% from the line late compared to Love's 66%, is also a factor.
Re: Rubio signed!
It seems that last year was first one when Love sucked in FT shooting during clutch time. So maybe we can just agree that sample size is just not big enough for comparing single season clutch performances.
