Flip seriously needs to bench Martin and Pek. Those two are suppose to be our 1 and 2 scoring options. The last two games they have looked terrible.

Play the young guys. Atleast they play hard.

+1

Get Bennett in the paint and let's see what he can do. Enough of these midrange jumpers!

Pekovic is terrible. He can't make a shot within 3 feet. He has no shot outside of that. He can't jump 6 inches and dunk it. He was supposed to be a big bull but he's the one getting pushed off his spot, not like it'd matter, he'd miss the shot anyhow. Posters here protect him saying how he'll shake off the rust but that is unacceptable from a guy making 12 million. Even when he puts up 20/10 they are empty stats as he effects no other facet of the game. That's not even counting his terrible clutch play at the end of games. He missed at least 10 2 foot game winners last year. I never believed he deserved that contract and wished we moved him in a trade last year. Now I just watch disgusted, waiting til he inevitably gets injured.

Our front line suffers against talent. There is a lot of it in the league right now. The inside out teams are going to feast on us this year. At least with Ricky we can control pace a bit and the quality of shots go up. Hard times with him out.

I think that's a little over the top Master. But I agree that missing all those shots is unacceptable. Rubio and Love earnt that contract for Pek, they both made him look better than he really is. Pek is simply overwhelmed in his current role as our primary low post scorer and rebounder.

The thing with Pek that is bugging me the most is how he just flings the ball at the hoop, he has no touch on the ball right now at all. I don't remember him looking this uncomfortable last year so I'm not sure if it is just rust or something else
