I think I'm done. I can't watch the likes of Rivers and Jimmer light us up. Bless you brave souls who endure

Edit: Well now GR3 is in, dammit I have to watch :(

Come on kiwi. Bud has suck so far but you know he has been a decent shooter and good cutter in his career. With a team with no take over guy, a guy that can shoot and cut will be good. If he could get himself going then he could be a useful rotation guy. Noi need to kick a guy when hes down.

Well we got our ass whoop tonight. Rubio and thad, our two best guys were out. Davis, anderson and holiday were great for them and they shot the lights out tonight. Their starters was a combined 32/43 tonight. Unreal.

Kiwi states the truth
Rubio and Love earnt that contract for Pek, they both made him look better than he really is.

and just in case you thought he misspoke:

WIKTIONARY

Verb[edit]

earnt
1.(UK, commonly used) simple past tense and past participle of earn

Usage notes[edit]
##Written, this is an uncommon (<0.5% as common as earned in the British National Corpus) but entirely acceptable alternative form of the simple past and past participle earned. This form is, however, more commonly spoken than written. Other verbs which can be conjugated in this way are: learn (learnt), dream (dreamt), spell (spelt).

I just know you were all wondering

Wow, what an embarrassment. The thing is, it wasn't necessarily poor effort (OK, except Martin, whose head was up his ass every minute he was on the floor). It was youth, inexperience, guys playing out of position, and a Pelicans team that couldn't freakin' miss.

Jrue Holiday, Austin Rivers, Luke Babbitt, and Eric Gordon went a combined 25 of 27 from the field, including 9 for 9 from beyond the arc. And not all of those shots were wide open. Jrue Holiday made a really tough runner off the glass early in the game. They were just ridiculous. The Timberwolves as a team from beyond the arc? 3 for 14.

Sigh. Well, the good news is that it still counts as only one loss.

Pek has looked over matched in most of the games. Almost all of his points come from 2-4 feet away, which means that any 7 footer can likely score those. Gorgi didnt' seem to have a problem filling if for him last season offensively. I was OK hanging onto Pek after trading Love, but we either have to get a different PF next to him, or trade him. I can't see spending 12 mil on a part time player with severe limitations. I realize Gorgi isn't likely the answer either, but he is making substantially less. We could easily do just as well with a guy like Mozgov or Koufas splitting minutes with Gorgi, and have an 5 mil to spend on someone else.

I think the wolves should be looking to move Pek, Martin, and Bud, while letting Young walk (or re-sign for significantly less) and then overpay for a better fit at the PF position. A player like Milsap would be a much better fit with this team. Solid rebounding, versatile offensive game and some shotblocking ability.
