Three games in four nights - Take Two
Re: Three games in four nights - Take Two
I am liking 2-1, only because I think Pek is going off against Miami. I am actually more concerned about a let down for the Magic.

I love the optimism here, but there are so many things working against us on this trip. If we can somehow pull off a 2-1, I'm ready to declare us a certain playoff contender and increase my 40 win prediction.
Brooklyn is healthier than they have been in a long time and played well last night in Lopez' return, and Miami is playing with a chip on its shoulder in the early post-James days (I think they will eventually come back to earth). The schedulers are putting the Wolves in hotel rooms for the next two weeks, and they can't be happy about that.
The good news is we appear to be healthy with Young ready to go. Still, it looks like 1-2 to me.

1-2, but I almost went 0-3. Luckily we have a day of rest between Brooklyn and Orlando, so I'm hoping we come out strong against Orlando after most likely losing to Brooklyn. Miami is still a good team and we're playing them on a back-to-back, so I see us having virtually zero chance of winning that game.

I picked 0-3. I feel this team will have one good week, followed by one bad and back and forth. Orlando should be a win, but oh ok. Can I go back and change to 1-2?
I hope Flip continues to experiment with different lineups and gives everyone some good minutes. I'd like to see our dynamic duo of Wiggy and AB playing more together.

3-0, of course.

Phenom, I'm not surprised at your 3-0 given your 52 win prediction!
I'm not as clear, though, on Volans' 2-1 (or could be 3-0), given his meagre 29 win prediction. If the Wolves start the season 3-3, with four of those games being on the road and 4 being against likely playoff teams, they're going to win a lot of games this year!

I calls em like i sees em. My 29 win prediction takes into consideration the injury history of this team, the fact that I believe we will be trading at least two of our vets by the deadline, and the fact that we play the West for the majority of the season.
All three of these opponents are from the East. Lopez is not going to be ready physically to D up Pek and I think the rest of our squad matches up well against Brooklyn. The Magic should be a win if Wiggins can use his speed against Tobias Harris, Rubio schools Elfrid, and Martin exploits Fournier. Miami should be a tight game, probably a loss but I wouldn't be surprised if we win.

I gotta admit that's a solid answer to my "gotcha" post...tip of the hat to you, volans!

2-1. We beat Brooklyn and Orlando and get crushed by Miami.
