I don't know if this has been brought up, but is this team more competitive/exciting to watch than last year's team? Or is that just me?

Not just you. This team is definitely more fun to watch and root for. Theres no star but everybody plays hard and play together. Last year, we go to love a lot and you know love will be itching to launch a step back 3 in crunch time.
This year's team is more unpredictable and more exciting to watch.

Idk why but I think the team is taking a step back tonight, no flow to the offense, defense has been bad at best.
Only a few bright spots so far in my opinion

Houston has been pretty much the best team in the league so far, that may have something to do with it.

Defense has been pathetic

Yeah - even though harden has been in check, pretty much everyone else is lighting us up though.

Really want to see Bennett get more minutes. Wouldnt mind seeing him try to defend howard. Watching pek and gorgs get housed has gotten old. Pek looks like complete trash. He was really good last year and looks like he got space jam'd and got his talent stolen.

I agree, Houston is good, but I am just discouraged by our pick and role d, and how many open threes the rockets have gotten

What sp said. No team has stayed within 10 points in any game this year (except the one Howard missed), so we weren't going to stay close without our best player. Still some good things going on. Wiggins played Harden tough, and was more aggressive on offense. We're even with them on the boards. Zach took care of the ball.

This is our matchup nightmare. We don't have the rim protection to let our wings stay with their guys on the perimeter. Constantly having to rotate and help for a young team is just going to open up shots everywhere for the other team and we don't even have the right guy helping half the time.
