Sorry for the late report. I didn't get to watch the game until late last night and I spent most of today watching football and tracking my fantasy teams. But here goes:
1) What is it with Aaron Brooks against the Wolves? If you only watched him play against us, you would think he's an all star in this league. He makes ridiculous shots and clearly owns the matchup, no matter who he plays for. Maybe we should sign him just to keep him from playing against us.
2) Too bad the game ended with the kid taking that foul. Hard to put too much blame on him, but I doubt we lose the game if played a little later in the year. Oh well, we all knew that there would be growing pains, but 2-1 would have been a really nice start.
Plus 1 - In all honesty I have very few negative thoughts about this team. I'm not going to stress about wins and losses, and am only looking for signs that the renaissance is coming. And truth be told I am seeing those signs. I'm pleased with just everything that was an unknown heading into the season. Wiggins is going to get better week by week, and I think his improvement is going to be very noticeable. Once the game starts to slow down for him a bit, watch out! That athleticism is just so superior that he's not going to be contained. Anthony Bennett is going to be a starting power forward in this league for a long time. It's easy to see why he was a number 1 pick. 17 assists for Ricky against the vaunted Bulls defense? Gorgui being effective every game. And Bazz looks like he is much improved also. It's just going to be awesome seeing this group grow up together.
And that's CoolBreez's 2 things I didn't like tonight plus 1

Ha, I had the same thoughts about Brooks. This guy always kills us. I wouldnt mind seeing Bud and Bazz alternate at the 10th spot. I'm not crazy about Bud either, but also not ready to give up. Maybe by the second half of the season, we'll find out who's bettter. I like what I'm hearing about this team and the play of our young Fab 5. Would like to see some minutes from Lavine but that might not happen until next year.
That's a pretty good Bulls team even without Rose, so what a tough performance and comeback. Very impressed.

Lavine will certainly get his opportunities this year. I hope he's patient and continues to absorb the coaching he is going to get. Attitude is very important for him right now.

Flip already played him a few mins against Detroit so I think he will get him in here and there. When Martin Mo and Rubio are all healthy its gonna be harder to get him in though but you never know maybe Flip throws him out there some game hoping for a spark.

True, the eventual injuries of Martin and others will give way to more mintues for Bazz and Lavine.
