I voted Gr3. I hate to see him go but the other two makes more sense for the wolves to keep at this moment.

Barea has value to the team. We saw it vs the bulls where he played the whole 4th and we won the game when tibs was playing his starters 30+mins and had rose played majoirty of the 4th. If mo has an off game or if he or rubio got hurt, jj is a legit rotation player in the league that you can plug in to play 20+mins a game.

Hummel's contract is guaranteed compared to gr3's partial guarantee. Hummel is the 3rd pf behind thad and AB.

Robinson meanwhile is stuck behind a wiggins, martin, brew, bud, lavine, bazz, jj, and even mo in minutes at the wings. Tough for him to get playing time ahead of those players. I hope we could somehow keep his rights even if we cut him. Have him play on our d-league affiliate club or something to keep his rights.

I voted GR3 as well for all the reasons WorldK pointed out. If he made the team, he would never play anyhow. It's going to be tough for LaVine to find minutes - much less GR3. He barely played in the preseason which sort of tells me where he's at in the pecking order. People rip Hummel and Barea. But just like in the preseason, both would find the court ahead of GR3 if everyone made the team.

Nothing new in my vote...everything points to GR3 as odd man out. Most here thought Flip got him later in the draft than expected, and even though I am not a big supporter of his, he has surprised me favorably in pre-season. But there just doesn't seem to be a place for him, and his main competitors (JJ and Robbie) have both been very good this pre-season. It tells us a lot about the talented roster that Flip has built if there isn't room for an athlete like GR3. Flip sent a strong signal about his attentions when he didn't play Glen in the final game last night.

I think Flip tried his darnedist to develop Zach as the #3 PG in the hopes of making Barea more expendable. It didn't work out, as Flip mentioned on Thursday's Funkadelic (something you should listen to if you haven't already -- it starts around the 27 minute mark).

Funny how Barea's value went up after leading a 4th quarter comeback... :)

Just to provide a little balance in this thread, here's Barreiro's tweet from yesterday, saying he still thinks JJ goes. Like him or not, Dan has regular contact with Flip, and might have picked something up in his discussions.

I can't imagine Flip would reveal anything to anybody about how he plans to trim the roster. Even Danny-Boy. I wouldn't be surprised if either Bud or Shabazz are still in play. But my first guess is GR3, followed by Hummel.

I worry that Wiggins is at risk after the last 2 games we played without him and looked awesome.

I am tired of watching us load the end of the bench with guys that will never make a rotation. Hummel is the guy that should be gone, and I can prove this with one question. Who is more likely to be picked up on an NBA roster? Hummel or GR3?

That should answer it for everyone on here. Robbie is a good guy and gives great effort on the court, but he is severely limited athletically, and doesn't do anything well. GR3 is an exceptional athlete, is five years younger than Robbie, hasn't had several knee issues, and already does everything as well or better than Robbie.

I don't want to keep a guy because he can be fill in in case of injury. The end of the bench should be reserved for guys that can grow into starters, particularly on a team that is rebuilding or reloading. There have already been rumors of Bud being shopped, and it isn't unlikely that Brewer or Martin could be gone before the end of the season as well.

Hummel will get picked up by a team in Europe. If he gets cut he is gone. I doubt GR3 gets picked up by an NBA team or feels Europe is an option. I think he ends up in the D-League if cut. I am guessing he ends up playing for the Wolves affiliate.
