Since Flip vows to control Pek's minutes, I predict his RPG stays the same, but in fewer minutes. And Gorgiu's rebounding will also benefit by Love's absence.

Good point LST. I'm typing thoughts as they enter my brain. You know what I meant though :-). I remember lots of times when Love/Pek would both have hands on rebounds and Pek would just let Love have it.

I was at Wolves/Laker game at Staples last year, and my Laker fan companion said "I've never seen a guy knock his own teammate down to get a rebound...twice in one quarter!"

HA! Love was/is a great player and he will be missed. But he was a stat stuffer too!

He flipped the switch back to JJ mode - I noticed that too.

Terrible quarter for JJ. After playing some effective team ball in the second quarter, he went back to the dark side in the third. Very little effort to get his teammates involved, and terrible defense.

Not a Bud fan, but glad he has looked okay tonight. Might help us get max value for him. Hope the scouts are swayed by his play the last couple nights.

I think Hummel is now like 1 for 10 from 3 point range for preseason. I like Hummel - but not good for a bubble guy.

EDIT: And right on Q - he nails one to shut me up.

Rubio 6 assists and JJ with 7. Five guys in double figures scoring. They really spread it around now without Love.
