It's nice to see us finally try and develop young players, GR3 will probably see very little court time this year but maybe we can develop him in the D-League earn his loyalty and maybe see him play next year.

There really wasn't much "opening of the wallet" done. Whether you cut JJ or keep him, you are still paying his salary. The only thing that would have helped is finding a team will to take JJ without getting a player in return. Obviously, Flip wasn't able to get that done.

You keep him on the team your paying for his production, you pay him to leave your not getting anything. Hence opening the wallet and saying go compete against us here's my money.

Shabazz is my 15th guy. If he sucks again this year, he's gone.

Haven't drank the Bennett koolaid yet. Looked good in preseason, but we played nobody. Hope he can look good against real competition. This will be a fun year with all the youngsters and Rubio in a contract year.

Don't overlook how Bennett performed against the Bulls, ricky...and in a game that Tibs really seemed to want to win. Chicago may be the toughest team for a PF or a C to play against with their great length, but AB scored and rebounded well. I'm saving a seat for you on the AB bandwagon, but you better hurry!

Okay, who are the three knuckleheads who added the late votes for JJ after the news came out? I want names!

Seriously it doesn't matter GR3 makes just over $500,000 thats nothing and J probably gives up $200,000 or something there is no opening up the wallet here. IMO if Glen is "opening up his wallet" its for GR3 not getting rid of JJ. GR3 is the guy Glen (owners love cheap really young talent), Flip, and probably most fans really want. I wouldn't be shocked if Glen told Flip a long time ago if it was down to GR3 and JJ unless GR3 was terrible he wanted GR3.
