Love is a garbage player (in a good way). He'll get his rebounds and score enough just on putbacks and garbage hoops. But with that offense and James running things, he'll get his other looks too. I see no reason why he wouldn't thrive in that offense. I think he gets his 20.0 ppg. And 12+ rebounds.

Every team has a pecking order. James is at the top. He's running every part of that organization right now. But with Love looking at a $100M extension... he's right there too. Part of the NBA coach's job is to ensure the pecking order is in place and players get their touches.

If a guy like Dion Waiters is messing with that... he'll be out the door (if James wants him gone.)

Kevin Love looks about a third of the size he did in his rookie season.

You're making some of head-scratching statements in this thread. Waiters out-scoring Love? LeBron being the face of Cleveland for only two more years? Even if LeBron declines, you have Kyrie being better than Love? It's puzzling.

I forgot about Lebron saying Love will be the best PF he ever played with.

I do. If Love would have played in FIBA this summer. He would have likely been the 3rd best player on the team behind AD and the MVP Irving. I am guessing the defense he played this summer will carry over to the NBA season.

Goddammit. Love would have been the best player on that roster, and it's not even close. Had everyone stayed healthy or remained on the roster, he would have been second only to Kevin Durant. I'm getting extremely tired of the pissy Wolves fans who won't give Love the credit he deserves. Be a rational basketball fan for crying out loud. Recognize that there has never been a player like him. He's an efficient 20/12/4 every night, even in Cleveland this year. Until Anthony Davis stretches that jumper to the three-point line or seriously works on his post offense, he won't be better than Love. Irving's been more flash than substance his three years in the league.

Get outta here with that nonsense.

Because people that really know basketball know that offense is the only valid way to evaluate a player. Defense is just that annoying little portion of the game that gives you an opportunity to catch your breath between offensive segments.

Flip needs to stop with the BS about defense, defense, defense. Doesn't he understand that it's offense that sells tickets?
