Plus the Wolves can throw in another 5.2m. If Haywood is thrown in (or flip a couple of those expirings for an extra 1.5 mill) then that lets the Wolves throw in Martin too if the Wolves really want to dump him. If they don't throw in Thompson then we're left with Love/Brewer for Wiggins/Bennet/filler/picks.
Big ten, how can the wolves throw in another 5.2m in this scenario? Whats the rules on this as I though you can only go over 15% in terms of matching salaries. Im not that sure on the rules so maybe you can explain it for me.
Maybe my math is wrong, but I thought the incoming salary could be 125% of the outgoing salary. IE: 20m out, 25m in.
A team can make a simultaneous trade for one or more players whose total incoming salary is no more than 125% + $100,000 greater than the total of outgoing salaries of players leaving in the trade. wrote:

Grey beat me with that tweet. LOL
I'm feeling the same way as Cool I've seem him play over the years but not sure what I think. Is he a SF or PF? What I like is the around 2 steals per game average the last 2 years. Just turned 26 a month ago. If I remember right he wasn't consistent earlier in his career (was also young) but seemed to not get the chance to prove himself either.

I'm unsure about this idea. don't know too much about Young either, but what I gather is he's a bit better offensively than TT, but not as good defensively. I've been hoping for a solid to good defending PF with decent offensive game.

Interesting. I'm not as high on Thad Young as some here, but adding him would be a pretty good move all things considered.
He'd be an efficient 20 PPG scorer paired with Rubio.
Not sure he can be a 20ppg scorer cam but he will be a good get. Undersize for the pf position but a very smart, efficient and athletic player who conducts himself and play the game the right way.
He will be better than tt or bennet if we get him.
Whats more interesting is philly possibly getting in as the 3rd team. We can definitely dump a salary or two to them.
