I'm honestly not exactly sure how I feel about this rumored Love/GR3 for Wiggins/Thompson/Waiters deal. I expected the Wolves to be able to unload more salary and actually gain a future 1st. Flip better have some other moves in his back pocket if this ends up happening exactly like that.

Or maybe not.

Warriors source flatly denies a report that they are offering Klay Thompson to Minnesota. "It's not true," the source said minutes ago.

I actually think it works in the Wolves favor since all the Cavs have are lower salary young players with upside...just means they have to add another piece :)

Do the cavs have a trade exception from the jack trade? They use that to clear cap space but do they get an exception as well? If they do, that could be used to include bud/brew/shved/jj/mbam fro our part to shed some salary for us and open roster spots.

No exceptions. They had to give it up when they dropped below the cap to sign Lebron as a FA.

I'm pretty sure this guy is the GS Bobo. They leak anything they want made public to him. It makes sense to deny offering Klay unless a deal actually gets done.

If the Wolves land Wiggins he will be the best athlete on the team since Isiah JR Rider. I am so excited about this deal. Rubio Wiggins is a dream pairing as far as I am concerned.

Let's hope Wiggins' athleticism is all he has in common with JR Junior Rider. :)

No Doubt. JR teased us. But JR was an insane athlete, I will always love the excitement he brought to the team. And he was the only 2 I ever saw guard Jordan one on one. JR was born at the wrong time. He should be playing for the Nuggets now. As an aside, I can't see how the league is going to stop pot now that it is legal 2 states.

In contrast, I think Wiggins has a great support system around him. His parents were world class athletes and totally focused. I just cant think of a better match for Ricky. This deal is totally a win for both teams as far as I am concerned. I will be more excited for the Wolves than I have ever been if this deal goes down.

Grey - If the reported deal happens (Love & GRIII for Wiggins, Waiters & Thompson), Flip will have to make some moves. The reported deal would leave the Wolves with a full roster at 15. The roster would be overloaded with wings and one-way players with no room to add any veteran free agents or a quality backup PG. I have to believe that Flip has several possible deals in place, contingent on what happens with the Love situation. If he doesn't, he'll have to put a deal or two together.

Here my list of the players I suspect that Flip would most like to trade in order of preference, assuming we end up with Waiters, Wiggins and Thompson for Love and GRIII:

1. Shved
2. Brewer
3. Luc
4. Budinger
5. Martin
6. Barea

I see Flip trading at least two and as many as three of these six in exchange for a smaller number of players. We may need to trade some future second round picks to get teams to take them.

Current Wolves roster players who Flip absolutely, positively won't trade this summer:

1. LaVine
2. Dieng
3. Shabazz
4. Rubio

Current Wolves roster players Highly unlikely to be traded this summer, but who could be dealt if a great offer comes along:

1. Pekovic
2. Turiaf
