It was to show you just how much speculation remains. And how wide it is.
That trade is ridiculous. And many would claim the other trade with Waiters included may be just as ridiculous.
I can only assume that rumor came from a Cavs' homer who doesn't understand how NBA salaries work in a trade. He undervalues Love as much as the homers on this board overvalue Love!
What's pissed me off the most is getting into arguments/debates with non-Wolves fans about this matter. People saying Flip misplayed this and that. Some still say Love should have been dealt at the draft. People saying we have no leverage and should trade him for whatever we can get. It's tiring to argue with so many idiots.

I really don't see much if any overvaluing of Love on this board. Most are talking about his TRUE value (top 5-10 player in his early prime) and not this BS trade value where teams think they can get someone for 25 cents on the dollar.
If I were the Cavs I would be pushing for Brewer. He's going to give you exactly what Wiggins will for at least the next 2 and would be awesome running the fast break with Lebron and Love
Jon Krawczynski @APkrawczynski
Andrew Wiggins has not been offered for Kevin Love. Klay Thompson has not been offered for Kevin Love. This is where things stand.
Seriously can we stop talking about the Warriors? Either they have their head so far up their ass they think Klay is worth more then Love, or they're playing the dumbest game of hardball ever

If I remember right the mysterious magical T-spence said the cavs wanted Brewer and the Wolves were willing to put him in the deal but they couldn't make salaries work.
Its kinda fun to see if any of these random people are right with there reports. The Media game is totally changing. You don't have to be employed by anyone all you need is some device and some wifi and you can do almost anything on some level as any news or media empire with more rudimentary finishing touches obviously and fewer resources. Of course there are fewer limitations on what you can do also. Its an interesting time and there are no shortage of people eating up whatever stuff they can get their hands on both consumers and people trying to give people info.
