Re: The Love-Wiggins Deal Thread
Here he is...the great TSpence himself giving us a podcast update on the Wiggins/Love deal. This guy has to have some serious issues. to be expending so much energy convincing the world he's connected...kind of pathetic.
Is he also the source of the "LeBron reached out to Love" story? I've been taking that as gospel and convincing myself that a deal is imminent, but how do we know that's just not more TSpence jibberish?

He's trying real hard to make a name for himself, and hoping he gets lucky enough to have the trade go down. anybody can do what he's doing,.

Re: The Love-Wiggins Deal Thread
The Cavs biggest incompetence when it comes to the draft is their thought process behind needing guys who will play right away versus taking the eventual best player. You look at 2011 when they took Kyrie. People forget that they took Thompson at 4 over a guy like Valanciunas who was a much better prospect, but wasn't going to be available to play right away. Then you look at last year when they took Bennett over Noel. Right now, they should have an Irving, Waiters, Wiggins, Noel, Valanciunas starting 5 before Lebron even agrees to sign with that team. How does that look compared to Irving/Waiters/Wiggins/Bennett/Thompson? It's not even close you go with door number 1, but their need to win as soon as possible after Lebron left caused them to miss on BPA's on at least 2 occasions and you could argue 3 taking Waiters over Lilliard, but I gave them a pass on that one because of fit. At least we can say we aren't the only incompetent drafting franchise in the league.

2011 missed at #4 on Klay Thompson Valaniciunas and Faried
2012 Drummond, and Lillard but like you said fit
2013 Dipo And Noel
apparently the Cavs are in love with there center cause they always refuse to draft one

This is from DYST Twitter out of Syracuse. It was from earlier today but I didn't see it in here.
UPDATE: Minnesota is still exchanging offers with both Cleveland and Golden State to ensure they get the best offer possible.
CONT. Cleveland and Warriors keep giving Minnesota what they're asking for but Wolves keep asking for more. Their starting a bidding war.
Cavs have Wiggins Bennett & Haywood on table Wolves trying to get Thompson/Waiters added. In tht scenario Cavs get Corey Brewer/Kevin Martin
Warriors are offering Harrison Barnes/Klay Thompson & David Lee for Kevin Love & Corey Brewer/Kevin Martin. Wolves want Barnes & Thompson.
Minnesota is asking for so much bc they have all the leverage. If they can get both teams to bid against themselves they'll get a heist.
Sounds like Flip is adamant about sending out Martin and is in a good position to do so. Take them for all their worth Flip! Hopefully this is heading to a finish soon. We're ready to move on.

I get unloading salary in the GS deal, but not the Cleveland deal. If it's true, I'm disappointed in Flip because you can always dump guys later. Take Wiggins, Bennett and Haywood and be done with this. Waiters, Thompson and dumping a salary is getting greedy considering the caliber of players they are to begin with.

Wiggins and Bennett not playing for the Cavs tonight. Supposedly that was the plan all along.

15 minutes before tipoff, and Wiggins and Bennett are still in street clothes. They probably just like to get dressed late, huh?

Punch-Drunk Wolves @PDWolves
@DarrenWolfson any reasoning offered for the delay? (Please not holding out for Klay). -AG
Darren Wolfson ? @DarrenWolfson

@PDWolves Not as far along as some people think. Example: nothing has gotten to Taylor for approval yet.

Why is he being greedy? It's no different then the Cavs refusing to give wiggins right away. He has to see in he can get the whole Enchilada or he wouldn't be a very good gm if he didn't. It's not like the Cavs are going to pull that offer of wiggins and Bennet and 1st off the table because of LBJ and Flip knows that.
