I think the total trade might be broken into two parts.

Part I:

MIN: Young, Murphy = $11.3M out, $10.2M in

CLE: Martin = $6.4M out, $6.8M in

PHI: Bennett, Barea = $9.4M out, $10.1M in

This trade could be completed whenever. No waiting needed and it would be a trade that signals everything's done. I think the non-guaranteed contracts may have a deadline before they become guaranteed, though. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong there.

Part II (after Wiggins' 30 day period):

MIN: Wiggins, Waiters, Lucas, 2015 MIA 1st = $15.7M out, $11.2M in

CLE: Love = $11.2M out, $15.7M in

PG: Rubio / LaVine / Shved
SG: Waiters / Brewer
SF: Wiggins / Budinger / Muhammad
PF: Young / Mbah a Moute / Hummel
C: Pekovic / Dieng / Turiaf

14 guaranteed contracts after Murphy and Lucas are waived, which leaves one free roster spot for Glenn Robinson III. Flip likes to have one roster spot so he can be flexible, though, so I could see another minor trade before the season starts.

Chances of it going down like that - 0%

I hope that the Celtics step up and make and offer. I still like Smart. Not the perfect fit, but think he will be a great rookie.

I don't see that happening, but as a whole I'd rather see Brewer/Shved go with JJ kept. The bench needs offense/shooters.

Nothing's going to happen for 29 more days. Now we just wait.

Barea has no place on this team anymore, with or without Love.

bleed, Ainge is supposedly done with a Love trade. His offer can't compete with Wiggins.

Right, but I think if an agreement happened after the Wiggins signing, somebody would have leaked it by now.

Flip is good with guards and I think he could fit Barea into a decent roll, but I'm all for bringing in another vet guard like Sessions. I'd just rather see Brewer's 2 year deal go instead of Barea with 1 left.

I want Brewer on this team the guy plays hard and can actually play. I'd like to have a guy like him with the young guys. I'm not saying keep him at all costs or anything like that but I'd like him to stay around.

Also this talk about getting rid of guys with 2 years on their contracts or whatever. Can the guy play? It just gets old talking about the player's value because of what contract they have. This isn't meant to attack anyone its just a general frustration especially when its a guy that can actually play.

Sessions is a solid player but he is kinda like the well traveled Nazr Muhummed (if you remember him a few years ago) of PGs. Everywhere he goes he plays well for a few weeks then sort of disappears to a certain extent. He puts up nice overall numbers but he sorta isn't that great overall and he can't hit 3's (poor compliment to Rubio) or lead as a PG. I'm not against bringing him here but I think some people overrate him. He could be a nice enough addition to another team but I don't think he fits here very well. It seems like he has gone to a couple places were you would think he could flourish and he was just OK.
